I have been developing the sound and score for this ongoing experimental film concerning the region of Alentejo, Portugal. It consists of field recordings made by myself, Nora Sweeney, and das Fadas; sounds made with objects found and recorded on site; readings of found and original text by the filmmaker; analog synthesizer; and electric guitar. Screenings of the film in its most expansive form are over two hours in length and consist of three 16mm projectors, four-channel sound, and myself performing electric guitar interspersed with bilingual readings by das Fadas and myself accompanied by live sounds made with plant and geological matter.
